Josh Mirenda arranges his sound with immersive lyrics as we are submerged once again into an additive track, “Mile A Minute.” Co-written with country hit-makers Ashley Gorley, Rhett Akins and Will Weatherly, the song deep dives into the heat of the moment with a “heart going wild” during an electric connection between two parties. Taking a familiar phrase as the title and giving the relatable emotion of “taking me over the limit” with a devoted melody, the release was the right pick after Mirenda’s release “Til The Neon’s Gone.”
