My music career has come a long way from dancing around my mamma’s kitchen singing “Hey Good Looking” when I was three or four years old. Sure, I still love Hank Williams, but up until a few years ago I never knew just how prolific country music would be later on in my life.

I grew up on part of an old plantation named Signal Hill that served as a hospital for injured soldiers during The Battle of Hanover Courthouse in the Civil War.  My dad’s side of the family is from Hanover; he grew up in that old plantation house and my grandad was a mechanic that sold used auto parts.
