Season two ‘American Idol’ alum Josh Gracin has a new single on the airwaves. Titled ‘Cover Girl,’ the song has the All-American, former Marine boosting his lady’s confidence by stating: “Girl, you may not believe me, but what I see it true, when I look at you / I see my very own, magazine cover girl.”
His Midwest charm and passionate vocals — mixed with heavy, electric guitar solo runs and trills — may just be the winning-ticket to a leading radio single. ‘Cover Girl,’ as well as his hit ‘Over Me,’ well both be included on his upcoming studio album, ‘She’s a Different Kind of Crazy,’ expected to be released this fall.
And his latest move from Lyric Street Records to Average Joe’s, for this new record, reveals an R&B, rock-influenced sound, meshed with country-styled lyrics, as shown on this track.
